The EcoMobility 2013 Suwon Congress, which took place on 1-4 September in Suwon, Republic of Korea, had an excellent international turnout.

Held in the remarkable setting of Suwon's EcoMobility World Festival project, during which the streets of a selected neighborhood were redesigned and revitalized with active modes of transportation, the congress was an ideal forum for discussing EcoMobility in action.

The congress consisted of 24 sessions over four days including:

  • 4 Plenary sessions,
  • A Leaders’ Round Table,
  • An International Youth Dialogue,
  • An ADB-GIZ-EcoMobility Alliance Training course on Non-motorized Transport,
  • A Low-carbon Cities Forum, and
  • A VIP Ride with innovative vehicles.
