The Film Contest closed on 31 July 2013.

Congratulations to our three lucky winners!

Are you a budding filmmaker with an interest in social and environmental concerns? Do you sometimes wish for a future where people move around freely using only eco-friendly vehicles?

This September, we will make this vision of a car-free urban living in the future possible. For the first time, the city of Suwon will close its streets to cars and allow only ecomobile vehicles for an entire month.

You can be a part of this!  The EcoMobility World Festival Film Contest is your chance to share your videography talents and make your top ideas on ecomobile living travel far and wide.

It’s easy! Anyone can join. And you may even submit as many entries as you like. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Create a 6 second to 5 minute digital film about themes relating to ecomobility
  2. Upload your video on Vine, Youtube, Youku or Vimeo
  3. Tag your video with #EcoMobilityFestival
  4. Write an email to ecomobility.films(at)iclei.org to inform us of the link

  • Your film can be in any digital video format – you can even use your mobile phone!
  • We accept films in any genre, including but not limited to documentary,  romance, drama, art, animation...
  • Your film can be in any language though we strongly suggest to include English subtitles and a full script.
  • Your film must not have been entered in other film contests before.

Your videos will be shown during the month long EcoMobility World Festival to be held in Suwon, South Korea. In addition, we will award the winners with:

1st prize: 500 USD

2nd prize: 300 USD

3rd prize: 200 USD

Hurry! The deadline for submission is on 31 July 2013. Winners will be informed by 09 August 2013.
